ABOUT
EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING
We take a hands-on approach to life and learning,
providing experiential seminars and workshops that deliver
far more than any book, lecture, video, disk, or audio tape can ever provide:
ACCESS TO CORE WISDOM
Tell me and I forget.
Show me and I remember.
Involve me and I understand.

Jim Quinn
Founder, a history
James H. Quinn was born in Washington state and served in the U.S. Corps of Cryptographers in China durning World War II. He worked in sales for JC Penney Inc. in Los Angeles and opened a clothing store in California. In 1973, he founded LifeStream, an experiential training seminar company and right up until his death in 1998 he introduced to tens of thousands of people all over the world, how to get the best of life.
The roots of Lifestream and the experiential seminar movement goes back to the late 1960's and a course called, Mind Dynamics founded by Alexander Everett. Mind Dynamics was the major forerunnner of most of the Large Group Awareness Trainings.
Many of the followers of Alexander Everett's work branched off to form their own group training companies when Mind Dynamics shut down. Jim Quinn and his wife, Jan left California with everything they owned and headed to America's mid-west.
They settled in Chicago and created LifeStream.
From its humble beginnings in a kitchen in the Chicago area circa 1973, where Jim Quinn delivered the first LifeStream seminar to three participants (one gentleman, one lady and her seven-year-old son) the Basic and IPI Advanced seminars have been offered around the world and delivered by a variety of powerful and engaging facilitators.
